Exalted Mars Magical Elections for Courage and Protection

For talismans, prayers and petitions that call for martial energy

Mars is currently in Capricorn, its sign of its exaltation. This brings out many of Mars’ better quality like courage, tenacity and the ability to fight and protect.

There are two great charts, one in January and one in February, that you can use to make a talisman for a variety of martial purposes, such as:

• Improve assertiveness

• Increase courage

• Offer protection and the ability to protect others

• Help in confrontations or situations where you need to fight and stand your ground

In one chart, Mars is on the mid-heaven, which means the wearer would be publicly perceived as a martial bad-ass. This chart has a lot of power and would be especially ideal for anyone who needs to be in a situation where they need to verbally stand up to someone (Mercury being nearby helps one be sharp with words).

In the other chart, Mars is on the ascendant, which means the wearer gains martial qualities themselves.

Both are suitable for a permanent or paper talisman as well as a prayer or petition. However, I favor the second for a permanent medium (more on this below). The first can be created in Europe or the North America and the second can be made in Europe and the Eastern standard and Central time zone in the US/Canada.
